Mrs. Mulberry is in the elevator when Kathryn gets on. Mrs. Mulberry
probes Kathryn to find out where she is going with her basket
of goodies and when Kathryn tells her that she is headed to Jesse's,
Mrs. Mulberry warns her away from him because she knows that
Kathryn is just after him and she believes that Kathryn is a
slut. |

When Mrs. Mulberry overhears a conversation between Devon and
Cayden concerning Kathryn, she warns them that Kathryn is up
to no good and they should keep an eye on her. When Cayden tries
to engage Mrs. Mulberry in conversation, she is rude and barely
civil to him, but she is extremely nice and caring when she converses
with Devon James, who seems to be the only person that Mrs. Mulberry
does not hate. |

In this episode we learn that in addition to the kind feelings
she has for Jesse Martinez, Mrs. Mulberry wasn't mean or rude
to Julia Taylor either. In fact, she comments to Julia that she's
lucky to have a man like Jesse, but her choice of words is, of
course, crude and sexual. |

Mrs. Mulberry is expecting a suitor to arrive at any moment.
When she hears a racket in the hall and opens her door to investigate.
When she does, she sees Gage's almost bare butt staring up at
her and calls him a fucking pervert and slams her door shut. |

It's Christmas Eve, and Szymon decides that he's going to explain
everything to Cayden. Standing outside of Cayden's door, he starts
talking to himself as he tries to figure out what to say, causing
Mrs. Mulberry to come out into the hall and tell him to knock
on the door and go inside already because he's driving her crazy. |

Mrs. Mulberry approaches Szymon Skubisz in the subway after he
just misses the train. She asks him what's wrong. Szymon tells
her that it seems as if he's been missing every train - and every
opportunity lately. He wonders if it's a sign that he and Cayden
shouldn't be together. Mrs. Mulberry tells him that there are
other trains and, that if he is patient, he can catch the next
one and be exactly where he needs to be. |

Jesse and Kathryn run into Mrs. Mulberry and her granddaughter
Sarah in the hall. Mrs. Mulberry has a broken leg and Sarah tells
them how she will be staying with her grandmother to watch over

two of them find out about the bag in the incinerator and Sarah
makes a few catty remarks that get Devon's blood boiling and

but it is eventually broken up my the men and Mrs. Mulberry. |
