2x04: "What Might Have Been"

In this special episode, we get to see what life would have been like had Cayden King not moved into the building. Drake Talbot moves into Julia Taylor's apartment and finds her diary. He gives it to Gage Matthews. Drake is somewhat quiet and there are rumors being spread around the building that he is gay and his lover is James Price, the man that lives down the hall next to Devon. It is soon discovered that the rumors are partially true, Drake is in fact gay, but his lover is actually a young man by the name of Cayden King. Drake tells Cayden that they must keep their relationship a secret for fear of what Drake's father might do if he found out. Cayden King is later found dead in the alley next to the building and it is unclear if he jumped from the building or was pushed.

2x05: "Call Me"

At school, Cayden goes to class and finds that it has been cancelled. He runs into Drake Talbot, the professor's assistant, who gives him back his paper. Cayden is shocked to find a C. Drake, however, gives Cayden another chance to get a better grade by writing another paper.

Later, when Drake calls his father to confirm dinner, he is disappointed when Jacob cancels on him.

2x09: "Together"

Drake Talbot arrives and has a harrowing argument with his father over his lack of attention throughout the years. Jacob is stern with his son and tells him that he needs to stop acting like a little girl and start acting like a man.

Victoria overhears the conversation and after Drake leaves his father's office, Victoria invites him out to lunch and he accepts.

2x14: "Forget You"

Jacob Talbot announces that he is running for mayor and teasingly refers to Victoria as Mrs. Mayor. When Drake arrives, he tells his son that he needs to let go of this ridiculous notion that he is gay. Drake Talbot surprises everyone with his new boyfriend, Dominick Perrotti. Jacob has a hard time dealing with his son's obvious defiance. Victoria and Cayden try to warn Drake against Dominick, but Drake seems bent on sticking it to his father. Izik learns the truth about Dominick's Perrotti's real intentions.

2x15: "Liar"

Drake barges into his father's office and accuses him of doing something to push Dominick away. Jacob tells his son that he is only looking out for his best interests. He gave Dominick a choice between money and his son and Dominick chose the money. Victoria tells Jacob that he shouldn't cut off ties with his son because it would be a big mistake and she knows from experience.

Szymon is annoyed when his private time with Cayden is interrupted by Drake Talbot, seeking a shoulder to cry on. Szymon jealously lashes out at Cayden when he begins to show more concern for Drake Talbot's feelings than his own.

Drake is crushed and meets with Adam Price. Drake was James' secret lover and it is James' birthday. Adam is James' brother. Ricky Andrews serves them. Adam wants Drake, but Drake turns him down.

2x16: "Strange Bedfellows"

Drake goes back to Xstatic where he is served by Johnny and runs into Izik. They watch as Dominick and Jody get cozy with one another. Drake confronts Dominick, who tells him that he is not looking for a long-term relationship. When Izik objects to Jody sleeping with Dominick, Jody tells him that they don't have to be exclusive. Izik is then caught by Sebby and told to leave the bar, but Izik offers him an alternative, himself.

Cayden takes a phone call from an emotional Drake as Szymon grows even more resentful. As their argument escalates, Cayden and Szymon find themselves trading verbal barbs, but when Szymon becomes so angry that he nearly physically attacks Cayden, he stops himself and retreats into the bedroom, ashamed.

A distraught Drake calls Adam Price as his last resort and tells him about how horrible and unwanted he feels. Adam takes the opportunity to make another advance on Drake. Finally feeling wanted by someone, Drake gives in to Adam's advances.

2x17: "Give Me One Reason"

Drake has a frank conversation with Professor Hirsch about his life where he admits a few things to the man including how depressed and lonely he had been and how he may have feelings for Cayden King. Professor Hirsch urges him to go for what he wants. Adam Price shows up and tried to kiss Drake. Drake is uncomfortable. Drake tells Adam that he made a mistake and they cannot be together. Adam can’t accept this and tried to get Drake to give in by force, but Professor Hirsch interrupts them.

Szymon decides to try and make it up to Cayden by bringing him flowers, but when he shows up at the hospital, Cayden is having a private conversation with Drake Talbot and Drake is holding Cayden’s hand. Szymon flees and tells Joseph Lester that Cayden is cheating on him and Joseph urges Szymon to talk to Cayden. Meanwhile, Drake is admitting his feelings to Cayden and Cayden tells him that they can only be friends. He wants to make things work with Szymon. Drake understands and leaves and Sarah steps off of the elevator. Cayden admits to her that he wants to stay with Szymon, but can see how he could easily go with Drake because Szymon is so nasty to him lately. Szymon overhears this and misinterprets what Cayden says and accuses him of cheating and asks him to leave the hospital and Sarah is there to take Cayden away.

2x18: "Take A Bow"

Jacob Talbot responds to the news coverage about his gay son and tells everyone that he is proud of Drake and that Victoria King has taught him tolerance. After his press conference, Jacob Talbot is up in the polls. However, he is visited by two associates of local mobster Vincenzo D’Agostino. Anthony Guzzetti and Gino De Luca have a message for him. It seems that Vinny’s businesses keep getting raided and they warn Jacob to keep his mouth shut and to not forget the people who helped him get to where he is.

Cayden arrives home to find Drake standing outside of his door. He admits to Drake the promotion that Vivian offered him and his fears that he won’t do a good job. Drake tells him that he’s crazy, of course he will. He gives great advice. He tells Cayden to stand in front of a mirror and tell him what he sees. Cayden can only see sadness in himself, but when he looks at Drake in the mirror, he sees longing. Both men give into temptation and make love.

Jacob and Victoria are shocked when they discover that Cayden and Drake are at the precipice of something new. Jacob is actually okay with the idea, which gives Drake some comfort.

Cayden and Drake are about to make love again when there is a knock at the door. Cayden answers to find Szymon Skubisz looking sad. He asks him if Sammy is okay and Szymon informs him that the transplant worked, but he is sad because of what he did to Cayden and wants to make it up to him. He wants to get back together. When Szymon sees a half-naked Drake in Cayden’s living room, he realizes what is going on and he leaves.

2x19: "Soul Deceiver"

Szymon picks up a random stranger and takes him back to his hotel room. He doesn't ask the man's name because he doesn't care, he looks like Cayden and that is all Szymon wants right now. Szymon is rough and impersonal. He doesn't care about the man he is with. Meanwhile, Cayden and Drake make love and it is tender and sweet. They caress one another and care for one another.

Szymon kicks the stranger out of his hotel room. The guy tells him that one of these days, he will pay for how he treats people. He never even gets the guy's name. Meanwhile, Cayden and Drake lay in bed together. Cayden says that he wishes that they could stay in bed together and forget about the world. Drake agrees.

2x20: "Crazy"

Cayden can't help but to think that Drake is hiding something from him when Drake comes to the apartment and doesn't want to get close and immediately goes to take a shower.
